MISSION MOMENT: TEE OFF FOR TEAM BCPS RECOGNITION AND CELEBRATIONS

By TEAM BCPS

A GATHERING TO CELEBRATE

After a day filled with networking and camaraderie, golfers joined guests in the Greystone Golf Course clubhouse for the Tee Off for Team BCPS Golf Classic’s sunset cocktail reception, dinner, and awards ceremony last month in White Hall.

After a delicious dinner prepared by Wendy Ayres and staff of the Greystone Grille, opening remarks were made by Paul Hume, event committee chair, and gratitude was extended to the 58 sponsors by event committee co-chair Joe Mondell. Mick Rayburn, president of The Education Foundation and an event co-chair, talked about the purpose of the golf classic…..to support the 111,000 students and nearly 9,100 educators in Baltimore County Public Schools with necessary resources and the opportunity to receive funding for grants, scholarships, and programs.

BCPS Chief of Schools Dr. Michael Zarchin, an honorary event chair, shared comments on behalf of the school system and participated in the recognition and celebration of distinguished honorees. BCPS Superintendent Dr. Darryl L. Williams, the other honorary chair, had provided opening remarks during the welcome ceremony for the golf classic.

Dr. Michael Zarchin, BCPS Chief of Schools, welcomes and extends appreciation to golfers and guests.
