Hunt Valley Hosts Fireworks

THE HEREFORD INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AND FIREWORKS

Lots of fun and excitement for everyone! The parade through downtown Hereford starts at 6:00 pm. Followed by a festival featuring vendors, crafts, bands, performers, and food at the Hereford High School. To close the night at Dusk, we have the best Fireworks around!

Parade Road Closures

The 2022 Independence Parade will be held on June 26, 2022, at 6 pm.

We will post the date, parade route, and road closures as soon as this information is finalized.

Costs

There are no admission fees to watch the parade, attend the festival, or watch the fireworks.

Parking

Parking information. Hereford High School – School, Track, and parking lot by tennis courts. Handicap parking available at the High School.
* Bunker Hill parking available for parade units only *

Join the Parade

Click here to register to be in the parade. Clubs, groups, organizations, businesses, schools, bands, political candidates, cars, fire equipment, police, motorcycles, farm equipment, performers, animals, and more are invited to build a float, ride, dance, or march in the parade. It is FREE to have a float in the parade. Great advertising to thousands of people for your school, business, or organization.

Please note: It costs a lot to organize this event each year. We appreciate all the volunteers that help us keep the cost down. One of our biggest expenses is to cover the fireworks and technicians. Property Decorating Contest

We love to see the community band together during this 4th of July event and show off our patriotic spirit. Please decorate your property (resident or business) in the theme of American Independence. We will be judging the best residential property and best business property. Dates and routes to be announced.

Vendors

Vendor spots are available at the Hereford Independence Festival location.

Fireworks

The fireworks start at dusk. Come early and choose your favorite spot. Set up your chairs or blankets, and other fun stuff, as you prepare to watch the spectacular fireworks display.
