OREGON RIDGE NATURE CENTER

Everything you ever wanted to know about honey and honeybees and more! Participants will have the opportunity to meet the National Honey Queen as she explains what is going on inside the Oregon Ridge hives during our open hive demos. Families will enjoy the Education stations that cover everything from honey extraction to beekeeping equipment to planting for pollinators and more. Make sure to allow enough time to see and do it all… children’s crafts, animal encounters, pumpkin painting, cider making tenant house tours, fall family games, vendors and crafters. Take the time to chat with the local beekeepers who will be there to sell their wares and answer your beekeeping questions. This event requires advance registration.
