GREENSBORO, N.C. – Towson men's basketball led for most of the game, getting out to as many as a 30-point lead in an 84-58 win against the Aggies. Towson (18-12, 11-6 CAA) held North Carolina A&T to just 21 points in the first half in the win.

    Key Stats:

    • Christian May led the Tigers with 15 points, going 6-13 from the floor with five rebounds.

    • Towson shot a blistering 52 percent from the floor and held the Aggies to 33 percent from the floor. The Tigers collected 51 rebounds compared to just 27 for North Carolina A&T.

    How It Happened:

    • Towson got out to a fast start ripping off a 6-0 run after the Aggies hit the first bucket of the game. Charles Thompson had a slam dunk and Tyler Tejada hit a three during the run.
    • The Tigers would take control midway through going on an 8-0 run to take their largest lead of the game to that point of 10.
    • The Tiger defense would continue to hold off the Aggies as Towson started to get hot from three.
    • Christian May and Nendah Tarke exchanged triples as the Tiger lead jumped out to as many as 21 in the first half.
    • Towson would take a 42-21 lead at the break behind good defense and strong outside shooting.
    • The Tigers would come out firing in the second half, extending their lead after a Christian May corner three.
    • That would be more than enough for the Tigers as Towson cruised to an 84-58 win against the Aggies.

    • With his start tonight, Charles Thompson tied the all-time record for career starts with 113. He ties Devin Boyd with the mark.
