DOUBLE DUTCH ARRIVES

This year's jumbo pumpkin is nicknamed Double Dutch 50.

Weighing a whopping 1,737 pounds, Dutch will be on display until November 2, at which time all its seeds will be counted up.

John “Dutch” Hessler is our Patio Manager and Lead Department 56 Designer. He will be retiring soon after 50 years of dedicated service to Valley View Farms. Our 2024 Giant Pumpkin was named in his honor, and John unloaded “Double Dutch 50” and gently set him on his stage.

Stop by to see “Double Dutch” in the Pumpkin Patch and then pop inside and see “Dutch” and his masterpiece Halloween Village and maybe watch him work his magic on the Christmas Villages.
