This annual celebration of Irish culture features local, regional and international Irish music, Irish Dancers, traditional cuisine, cultural exhibits and workshops, and a wide variety of quality vendors of Irish goods.
Join us all weekend as we celebrate our Irish culture with great music, food, beer, and do some early Christmas shopping with our fantastic vendors! We have many Cultural and Historical displays and performances, and kid’s play area with activities, and games.
The modest admission fee to the festival goes to support the many charitable causes of our own Maryland Irish community, whose members volunteer their time every year to put on this great event. It’s a family affair, so come out, have fun, and be part of this great charitable endeavor.

Ceilis (kay’- lees) have a long tradition as a place to gather for fun, fellowship, and lots of dancing. The Irish carried the tradition of social dances with them as they spread around the world. Here in the US it was an inspiration for both our line dancing and square dancing and our Festival Ceili will include both styles. Lively ceili music, an experienced, enthusiastic caller, and friendly, seasoned dancers will be there to help you get started. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday night!
Éamonn de Cógáin is widely regarded as Ireland’s most energetic MC. He has called céilís far and wide across the Emerald Isle and has developed a reputation as the Ceili King stateside. He is a staple at many of the summer Irish festivals from Minnesota to Mississippi. Eamonn has taught thousands the basic steps and movements of Irish Ceili Dancing. His smooth brog and easy-going nature allows people of all ages to believe that they can ceili dance the night away without difficulty.
