Jamie Sykes of Point Breeze Credit Union named one of Maryland’s Leading Women Under 40

The Daily Record’s annual list honors women leaders across industries

The Daily Record has named Jamie Sykes, Manager of Point Breeze Credit Union’s Hunt Valley Office, to its 2025 list of Leading Women Under 40.

Winners were selected for the honor based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change. The honorees were chosen by previous Leading Women Under 40 honorees and a representative of The Daily Record.

“Jamie joined Point Breeze as a teller with no previous banking experience and has since grown to be an exceptional leader, managing several priority branches,” said Jesse Bell, Senior Vice President, Chief Member Relationship Officer for Point Breeze Credit Union. “Anyone who knows Jamie knows that she is someone to count on, both in and out of the office. She leads with kindness through everything she does, and we are so proud of her for earning this well-deserved honor.”

“The 2025 Leading Women are accomplished up-and-coming leaders who juggle family commitments, demanding careers, community service, education, mentoring and many other priorities. They work hard and are committed to making a difference and inspiring change in the community,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “These women are making a remarkable impact at a young age, and we at The Daily Record are pleased to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to their future achievements.”
