Baltimore County salon opens 1st brick-and-mortar storefront

Melico Salon has opened its first brick-and-mortar location in LuthervilleTimonium, MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services announced.

Previously, the salon conducted business out of a rented loft in Towson. Melissa Burgess, owner of the women’s hair styling and treatment concept, signed a lease with Ridgely Plaza LP, LLLP for 1,150 square feet of space, according to a MacKenzie release.

Situated near the Yorkridge Shopping Center, Melico Salon is located at 9 W. Ridgely Road. MacKenzie executive Mike Ruocco represented the tenant while John Harrington, also an executive in the company, represented the landlord.

The salon offers a variety of hair services, including haircuts and styling, hair color and treatments, and hair extensions – all facilitated by a six-person artist team. The studio occupies a space that once housed a hair salon.
