Domestic Murders

At approximately 11 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of East Padonia for reports of a shooting at a residence. Upon their arrival, officers assigned to Precinct 7-Cockeysville discovered an adult male and female who had sustained gunshot wounds and were confirmed deceased. Preliminarily, it appears as if the male’s injury was self-inflicted. Homicide detectives are on scene investigating.

Charges Filed in Monkton Murder

55-year-old Anthony Lechner has been charged with first-degree murder following the homicide of 56-year-old Kimberly Lechner.

At approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Maplehurst Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult female with trauma-related injuries who was pronounced deceased. A person of interest is being questioned. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. There is currently no threat to the community.
