Towson, MD – The Baltimore County Fire Department is joining forces with the Community Assistance Network (CAN) to help families in need this holiday season. Together, we’re launching the “Christmas in CANland” donation drive to collect essential items and gifts that will bring comfort and joy to local families.

All food items—or gently used clothing—can be dropped off at any Baltimore County career or volunteer fire station through December 5, 2025.
A complete list of fire station locations is available here: Station List.
Requested donations include:
• Gently used clothing, including coats and jackets, shoes and boots
• Slippers and socks
• Non-perishable food
• New packaged toys
• Blankets
• LED candles and fragrances
“The holiday season is a time for giving, and this partnership allows us to come together as a community to support our neighbors in need,” said Joseph Dixon, Baltimore County Fire Chief. “Every donation, big or small, helps brighten someone’s holiday.”
