        Falls Road drainage project begins in Baltimore County, expect daytime lane closures
BROOKLANDVILLE, MD—Drivers on MD 25 (Falls Road) in the Brooklandville/Lutherville area of Baltimore County should prepare for significant daytime lane closures beginning next week as the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) starts a major drainage repair project.
The work is set to begin on Monday, November 3, and is expected to continue through mid-December, weather permitting.
Project Scope and Location
The $261,000 project will focus on a short section of MD 25, specifically located between MD 130 (Greenspring Valley Road) and MD 131 (Seminary Avenue), approximately 0.2 miles north of MD 130.

This project is part of MDOT SHA’s larger $6.1 million areawide contract to enhance safety and operations on state highways throughout Baltimore and Harford counties. The contractor performing the work is Concrete General, Inc. of Gaithersburg.
Traffic Impacts and Commuter Advisory
Motorists traveling through the area should expect daytime single-lane closures with flagging operations on MD 25. The closures will be in effect on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Flaggers and temporary traffic signs will be used to guide traffic through the work zone.
