With a great deal of downtime on their hands as Towson University college students and football players during the height of the pandemic in 2020, Conrad Brake and Ryan Rutowski spent endless hours dreaming and working towards a post-collegiate business venture. Soon after graduation in 2022, they co-founded Let’s Tap In, a content-driven marketing company, and began operations at the Towson Armory, an entrepreneur support facility featuring free rent. Just over three years later and with eight full-time and remote employees now in tow, the group signed a lease with Hill Management Services, Inc. for the company’s first traditional office space at the Executive Plaza complex in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Andrew Beyrodt, Leasing Representative for Hill Management Services represented the landlord in lease negotiations.

Primarily serving the hospitality, fitness, and local service sectors, Let’s Tap In has evolved into a specialized content production partner focused on delivering consistent, high-quality digital media at scale. Through its “Content Engine” model, the company produces professional video, photography, and graphic design assets that help brands maintain an active and engaging presence online. While content creation serves as the company’s flagship offering, Let’s Tap In draws on its background in brand strategy, paid advertising, and other revenue-driving initiatives to inform and strengthen the content it produces for its partners.

“Ryan and I are extremely competitive by nature and we spent many hours together on the practice and playing field and in the locker room so we learned each other’s tendencies, as well as our strengths and weaknesses,” Brake explained, “which formed a natural trust and bond. This translated seamlessly to the corporate world where we approach things with a similar attack mindset and love to work out problems analytically,” he added.

Let’s Tap In attracted business opportunities in the greater Baltimore area quickly which translated to an increase in staffing to service the consistent and rapidly expanding amount of work. The small 10’ x 10’ office box was not feasible anymore to support the company’s needs, which spurred a real estate search focused on the Baltimore County region.

“We viewed Hunt Valley as a new frontier and a great submarket to stir up new business opportunities after being laser focused on the greater Towson area, given the diverse and fast-growing companies with operations in and around the region,” Brake explained. “The Executive Plaza complex quickly soared to the top of our list because of its curb appeal and best-in-class business environment presentation. A bonus was the on-site amenities, as we are staffed by a team of active mid-20- year-olds that enjoy eating, socializing, and moving around. We immediately signed up for a corporate membership with the on-site fitness center to help burn off energy and create another socializing opportunity.”

Located at 11350 McCormick Road, the Executive Plaza complex is equipped with a variety of business and personal amenities on the ground floor including a deli, fitness center, conference rooms, post office, hair salon, convenience store, storage space, and a car detailing provider.

The business community is located adjacent to Interstate 83 in the heart of the Hunt Valley Premier Business District and is less than 10 miles from Towson and approximately 15 miles from downtown Baltimore City.

“Let’s Tap In is a young and rapidly-growing company backed by passionate entrepreneurs, and indicative of the highly-successful organizations that are choosing Executive Plaza based on its landmark status in Hunt Valley, on-site amenities and direct access to multiple restaurants, shopping options, and business services,” said Danielle Beyrodt, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hill Management Services. “Their relocation from Towson continues the trend of companies moving to Hunt Valley from neighboring submarkets to take advantage of best-in-class office space, retail and transportation amenities, free parking, and a robust business environment.”
