Maisie Rehkemper, a 16-year-old junior at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, was selected for the 2026 Grammy Camp in New York City.Maisie was the only student from Baltimore accepted into the prestigious program this year, joining students from across 35 states in the Music Production track this August.

Her resume already includes internships at WTMD 89.7 FM, live sound work at local events and founding the Women in Audio Tech Club at her school.
GRAMMY Camp is a national music industry program for high school students interested in having a career in music. Students from across the country will have the opportunity to apply for a variety of GRAMMY Camp programs. Led by a GRAMMY Camp faculty of music industry professionals and GRAMMY Nominees and Winners, GRAMMY Camp is the industry’s only summer camp dedicated to providing students with valuable insight from real-world music makers to give campers the best chance at achieving success in their chosen career.
For the 2026 summer season, GRAMMY Camp will be expanding to four locations across the United States:
