Summer Tour Pt. 2: A Big Fish Story
Summer Tour Pt.1: Jake's In The Woods
Once upon a time, two best friends named Chuck Beary and Quincy Hopper decided to spend a sunny summer afternoon at the Loch Raven Fishing Center. Chuck was a big, friendly bear who loved wearing cool sunglasses, and Quincy was an energetic little rabbit who couldn’t sit still.

They are also known as the Hunt Valley bear and Hunt Valley rabbit. Both wore their favorite matching green-and-white "Hunt Valley Life" t-shirts. After showing their licenses and renting a shiny silver motorboat, they strapped on bright orange life vests and set out onto the glittering blue water. The Bait and the Waiting...

"I'm going to catch the biggest fish ever!" chirped Quincy"

They cruised right out to the middle of the reservoir. Chuck carefully cast his line with a practiced flick of his wrist. Quincy threw his line out too, his long ears twitching with excitement. They waited and waited as the gentle waves rocked their boat. Suddenly, Quincy’s rod bent just a tiny bit. He reeled it in with a giant smile, looking unbelievably proud.

Balanced on the end of his hook was a fish no bigger than a peanut! Quincy giggled up a storm at his "monster catch." A Legendary Tug-of-War!

But the laughter didn't last long. SPLASH!
Chuck’s fishing rod suddenly bent completely in half! Something massive was on the other end of the line. Before they knew it, a legendary green-and-gold fish surged out of the water, bursting through the waves with a mighty splash.

"Hold on tight, Chuck!" roared Quincy. Chuck gripped the rod with all his might, big feet sliding across the deck as the giant fish began pulling their entire boat right across the reservoir! Quincy quickly grabbed a net, trying to help his little friend scoop up the legendary prize. The One That Got Away SNAP!

With one final, powerful leap from the fish, the fishing line broke cleanly in two. The sudden release sent Chuck and Quincy tumbling backward into the bottom of the boat, their furry legs flying up into the air.

For a second, everything was quiet. Then, Chuck and Quincy looked at each other and burst into giant, unstoppable laughter. The legendary fish was gone, but they didn't mind one bit.

A celebration back at the rental dock, they waved their arms wildly as they told the boat attendant the whole dramatic story. The attendant’s jaw dropped in pure shock! By now, both adventurers were absolutely starving.

Since they didn't bring any fish home, they drove to the Ocean Pride restaurant in Timonium. Over a massive plate of golden, crispy fish and hot fries, they hung a banner that read: "We didn't catch anything but we sure have a fish story!"

To top off the perfect night, Chuck pulled up a wooden stool in the corner of the Ocean Pride restaurant, picked up an acoustic guitar, and started strumming a happy tune. Quincy hopped and danced across the floor, while the crowd clapped along to the music of the finest fishermen on the Loch Raven Reservoir.
