Mission Moment: Help us prepare for the back-to-school season
By Team BCPS
It’s never too early to start thinking about the back-to-school season! It will be here before you know it, and The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools needs the community’s help to stock the shelves at the Exchangerees – its two educator resource centers where teachers shop for school supplies and classroom materials at no cost to themselves.
Host a Tools for School Drive.
During July and August, collect pens, pencils, paper, crayons, markers, notebooks, folders, art supplies, fidgets, games, puzzles, STEM materials, and more! Then, contact The Education Foundation (edfoundation@bcps.org or 443-809-8962) to schedule a donation drop-off.
Join us for the 4th Annual Stuff the Bus event.
This year’s Stuff the Bus event will take place on Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Walmart Supercenter, 1 Frankel Way, Cockeysville 21030. During the event, Walmart patrons may purchase school supplies and deliver them to the donation center in front of the building. Take a moment to enjoy music from BCPS marching bands, enthusiasm from BCPS cheerleaders, food from various food trucks, a photo op with Poe, the Raven’s mascot, and more!
Show your support all year long.
Did you know? The Exchangerees are open to BCPS Educators for shopping all year long! That’s right! BCPS Educators may shop one time per month at one of the Exchangerees all year long! That means we need donations all year long to keep our shelves stocked! Join our monthly challenge and donate specific items each month or pick and choose from our shopping list what you’d like to donate each month.
Start planning your end-of-year giving.
Do you prefer to donate funds toward our efforts to keep our Exchangeree shelves stocked? Monetary donations are always welcome. Donate anytime or engage in one of our three end-of-year giving campaigns.
