Baltimore County Police Unveil New Look
The Baltimore County Police Department unveiled its newly designed patrol vehicle, marking the first significant change to the appearance of the Department’s marked vehicles in more than 30 years.

This updated design reflects the Department’s commitment to officer safety, innovation, and service to the community. Developed with input from officers across the agency, the new design modernizes the appearance of the Department’s fleet while improving the visibility and recognizability of the Department’s police vehicles throughout Baltimore County.
Among the most noticeable changes, the redesign places greater emphasis on the words “Police” and “Baltimore County,” creating a bold, more modern appearance. The color scheme has also been redesigned.

In addition to the redesign, the vehicles incorporate technological enhancements, including upgraded in-car computers and other equipment intended to support officers in the field.Today’s unveiling represents a new chapter in the Baltimore County Police Department’s history while reaffirming the Department’s commitment to keeping Baltimore County safe.
The newly marked vehicles are expected to begin appearing in Baltimore County communities within the coming weeks.
