One firefighter suffered a medical emergency and refused transport on Monday afternoon in 12000 Block of Long Green Pike in Glen Arm.
Firefighters responded late Monday morning to a house fire that rapidly spread through a residential structure.
First responders arrived at the scene around 11:15 a.m. and observed heavy smoke pouring from the second floor and attic of the two-and-a-half-story dwelling. Incident commanders quickly called for a working fire response alongside a tanker strike team to assist with rural water supply operations.

Conditions inside the structure deteriorated rapidly within minutes of arrival. By 11:24 a.m., command officials reported heavy fire burning throughout the home and requested a second-alarm assignment to bring additional crews and apparatus to combat the blaze, according to Baltimore County Breaking News.
The Baltimore County Fire Department reports that all occupants have been evacuated and no injuries have been reported at this time. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
