Fall Highlights at the Ma & Pa Heritage Village Pumpkin Patch Excursions Fall Leaf Excursions

It's that time of the year when the leaves begin to turn, the air is cool and crisp, and pumpkins are ready to harvest. In other words, it's the perfect time for a train ride on the Ma & Pa Railroad to the Pumpkin Patch.

Bring your family for a day of fall fun on our Pumpkin Patch Excursions on Saturday, October 10, 11 AM - 4 PM or Sunday, October 11, 1 - 5 PM. There will be five trains running on Saturday and four on Sunday. The fare is $8 for both adults and children 3-12 years old. Children under 3 ride free. All child tickets include a pumpkin and decorating supplies. Pumpkins for adults or children under 3 can be purchased for $3.

Passengers will board the train for a three-mile ride through the scenic Muddy Creek Valley to the Pumpkin Patch. There each child and those who have purchased a pumpkin can select their perfect pumpkins to take home. Upon return to Muddy Creek Forks there will be supplies for children to decorate their pumpkins and cookies with lemonade or apple cider for all passengers.

Advance tickets are also available now for our Fall Leaf Excursions. Autumn is an especially popular time at the Ma & Pa as visitors crowd our trains to view the stunning fall colors of the Muddy Creek Valley. This year fall foliage trains will run from 11 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays, October 17, 24, and 31, and 1 PM to 5 PM on Sundays, October 18, 25, and November 1. Excursions, which run at quarter after each hour, are $10 for adults and $7 for children.
