Man Shot Dead

TOWSON, MD (October 25, 2026) – Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on October 25, 2026, at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. 

The investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred inside the Crackpot Bar, during which an adult male brandished a knife. An armed security guard working at the location fired his handgun striking the male. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

An adult female that was inside the location was also injured and is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. The security guard remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators. This was an isolated incident, and the public is not in any danger. More information can be provided at a later time.
