When the autumn colors are at their peak, it's like looking at painted mountains that stretch for miles. The Frostburg Flyer runs five days a week in October, and train tickets sell out fast. This 4.5-hour long trip departs from Cumberland to Frostburg, including a 1-hour layover before returning to Cumberland. It’s the best way to see Maryland’s beautiful fall foliage! On weekends in October, you can also climb aboard the Pumpkin Patch Limited and enjoy a 75-minute round-trip train ride to a pumpkin patch, where each passenger will get to pick out their own pumpkin to bring home and decorate. It's the best pumpkin train in Maryland!
