The Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council recently honored Ann and Noot Canoles of Timonium for their dedication and service to the Nature Center and the Council over the past 40 years.
Ann and Noot have been staunch supporters of the Nature Center since the start and have tirelessly volunteered their time and talents in so many roles. Specifically, Ann has been the treasurer of the Council since 1998 and Noot has served as both the president and vice president during that time. Noot has also served as a trail guide and on the scholarship, landscape and exhibit committees.
Their dedication is an inspiration. They have helped shape the programming, exhibits and events of the Nature Center over the years, and still give their time on a weekly basis.
