Enjoy the Ice Cream Trail
Maryland’s Best program is kicking off the 2024 Maryland’s Best Ice Cream Trail with new additions to the trail, new prizes for participants, and of course ice cream! Now in its twelfth year, the Ice Cream Trail is designed to promote the state’s dairy industry and has become increasingly popular. It’s a great way to spend time with family and friends – how many locations can you make it to this summer?
WIN PRIZES
Check in online on Instagram or Facebook at any creamery, post a picture, tag Maryland’s Best, @mdsbest (IG) or @mdsbestag (FB), and be entered to win an ice cream cone squishy each week! One check-in per location per family.
NEW!! In partnership with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and AllTrails, check out a hiking trail near each location!
Use AllTrails to navigate your hike and easily share your adventure on social! AllTrails helps people discover and navigate trails in their neighborhoods and around the world while staying prepared, informed, and ready for the trails.
For an additional entry to win each week, take a photo of your hike, and tag @mdsbest/@mdsbestag, and @MarylandDNR to enter. Anyone who visits all 11 trailheads and submits photos to our email, icecream.trail1@maryland.gov, will be entered to win a free annual State Park Pass or a one-year free subscription to AllTrails+!
