TOWSON, MD—The date for BCPSfest 2024 has been announced.

The annual back-to-school celebration will take place 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Enjoy live entertainment and fun hands-on activities.
  • Try Double-Dutch jump roping.
  • Take a break in the Story Time Tent with special guest readers.
  • Visit the Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures (dental van).
  • Learn more about BCPS programs, services, and employment opportunities.
  • Join on the field for fun games.
  • Step onto the ESOL welcome bus.
  • Visit the BCPS Parentmobile for ideas about ways to support student success.
  • Enjoy face painting.
  • And more surprises to come!

Festival visitors are encouraged to park (free) at BCPS headquarters/Greenwood, 6901 N. Charles Street, Towson 21204. Park on the lot in front of Building E. BCPS will provide free shuttle buses to and from Carver Center every 15 minutes from 10:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
