Former Fairfield swimming coach will follow Matthew Torres, Colleen Young at Paris Paralympics with pride

When former Fairfield University swimmers Matthew Torres and Colleen Young compete in the 2024 Paralympics in Paris later this summer, their former coach with the Stags will be following every stroke.
Anthony Bruno, who is now the swimming coach at Towson University, coached at Fairfield from 2016-21, having both Torres and Young on his teams.
“These are really cool moments in time getting to watch athletes you have worked closely with swim at the highest level,” Bruno said. “Colleen and I are very close and I have a tremendous amount of pride seeing the woman she has become and I am so excited to see her swim in Paris. I didn’t have as much time with Matthew but I am excited to see what he has become since we last were together.”
