THE BUS STOPS

WBAL-TV, 98 Rock and WBAL NewsRadio 1090 AM and 101.5 FM are once again joining forces to help young children in our communities.

Students return to school later this month, a challenging time for some children and their parents. We see it every year -- parents and teachers struggling to get enough supplies to last the entire school year. Some teachers even take money from their own pockets to get students the basics they need to be productive in class.

Well, we are here to help.

Our school supplies collection campaign is returning for a second year. Named in honor of WBAL-TV's longtime education reporter, the "Dr. Tim Tooten's 'Stuff the Bus' School Supplies Drive" benefits school districts and education foundations in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties.

On select days in August, you can drop off donations at various collections sites. Friday August 23rd we will be at Walmart in Cockeysville.
