Postal Service Considers Relocation of the Glen Arm Post Office

GLEN ARM, MD – The U.S. Postal Service is proposing the relocation of the Glen Arm Post Office, 12112 Long Green Pike, Glen Arm, MD 21057, to a yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current site.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because the lease expired and was not renewed.

This project will allow the Postal Service to maintain retail operations for our customers in the vicinity for the long term. While the search for a new site continues, all retail operations at the Glen Arm Post Office have temporarily moved to the Baldwin Post Office located at 13516 Long Green Pike, Baldwin MD 21013.

The Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and appreciated the input from the community and local officials.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
