COCKEYSVILLE, MD — A new restaurant with liquor lockers and a bank vault storing alcohol is opening this fall in Baltimore County. There will also be a private dining room that doubles as a podcast booth at Yorktowne Social, coming soon to Cockeysville.

Husband-wife duo Jim "Jimmy T" and Ellen Trujillo plan to unveil their "grand finale" this fall in Yorktowne Plaza. They expect to be open for the football season, but their ambitious operation might not be ready for week one.

As residents of Sparks, the couple's new multi-venue venture is a return to their roots.

"For Jimmy, it’s personal. His family called Cockeysville home during his dad’s defense contractor years, and it left a mark," Yorktowne Social told Patch in a Wednesday email. "He met Ellen just around the corner at Beaver Dam and started their life together here — their first apartment was right across the street. This project is their love letter to a town that shaped them."

Yorktowne Social will employ over 50 workers and span 18,000 square feet at 88 Cranbrook Road.

The dining and entertainment destination will have five different concepts at one address: an upscale restaurant, a casual and trendy kitchen, a sports bar, a cigar bar and a courtyard.

Jimmy Trujillo is a national hospitality consultant, nightlife and restaurant designer and a self-described "operational guru." Ellen Trujillo calls herself "Baltimore's favorite bartender turned salon entrepreneur." She owns Brocatos Collective in Timonium.

"Jimmy T has spent 30+ years in hospitality design and management, working on venues across the U.S., often in partnership with cities, stadiums, and national brands," Yorktowne Social said. "Yorktowne Social is his passion project — a grand finale, albeit a mini version, built in the place he loves most. Every concept has roots in his experience but was crafted with local flavor and community connection at its core."

Jimmy Trujillo and Rebecca Butcher, media and creative director, described Yorktowne Social's concepts as:

Oak & Olive

"Sophisticated dining where Maryland meets the Mediterranean. Think seasonal menus, quarterly guest chef tastings, and a refined atmosphere."

Social Kitchen

"Our trend-forward heart — Instagram-worthy plates, 16 craft beers on tap, hand-crafted cocktails, and a real bank vault stocked with top-shelf spirits."

GAME Room

"The ultimate sports bar — giant media walls, indoor/outdoor crush bar, live entertainment, retro games, and fast upscale pub fare."

V&C Cigar Bar

"Speakeasy charm with Cuban and Italian flair. Leather couches, enclosed patio, private dining room/podcast booth, and liquor lockers for your rare bourbon stash."

Courtyard

"Outdoor oasis with fire pits, live music, chill vibes and a menu straight from Social Kitchen. Perfect for tailgates and brunches or evenings under the string lights."

Yorktowne Social described its menus as "bold, diverse, and ever-evolving."

"Whether it's Mediterranean elegance at Oak & Olive, game-day indulgence in the GAME Room, or innovative shareables at Social Kitchen, our food tells a story," the restaurant said. "And the drinks? Next level. Craft beers, creative cocktails, premium spirits, and curated wine lists — we've got something for every palate and celebration."

Customers and interested applicants can follow the eatery on Facebook for more information.

"This isn’t just a new place to eat — it’s a place to belong," Yorktowne Social said. "From brunches in the Courtyard to late-night podcasts at V&C, Yorktowne Social invites the community to experience Cockeysville like never before. It’s bold. It’s immersive. It’s ours."
