The Albers & Associates law firm moved its corporate headquarters from the Eastpoint Office park in eastern Baltimore County to a building in Timonium.
The firm, founded by Ross Albers in 2015, signed a lease with Hill Management Services Inc. for 15,883 square feet of space at 9515 Deereco Road a 10-story, 134,000 square-foot Class “A” high-rise office building.
Albers & Associates has nearly 40 full-time employees, including 13 attorneys, and maintains satellite offices in Bel Air, Ellicott City, Towson, and Westminster, as well as York, Pennsylvania. The firm specializes in probate and estate planning; civil litigation; criminal law; and family and personal injury. The group also owns and operates Mid-Atlantic Title, a subsidiary providing a full range of settlement services for commercial and residential properties.
Albers said he started thinking about a move when he attended a Dave Ramsey leadership conference that emphasized the importance of workplace culture, team building, and providing the most productive and inspirational workplace for employees.
“I returned with a burning desire and intense motivation to completely reimagine our corporate offices, and transform the space into an empowering environment and recruiting tool where employees were eager to come to every day,” Albers said. “Takeaways from the conference included the importance of decor, common areas which stimulated random conversations and sharing of ideas, and the importance of a centralized location that benefitted employees and clients alike.”
Hill Management Services was his landlord of the former location and showed them the new location, which features large windows and an event space. Danielle Bridge, leasing manager for Hill Management Services, represented the landlord, and Patrick Smith of MacKenize Commercial Real Estate Services represented the tenant in this transaction.
