Rising star Maddox Batson to headline Maryland State Fair concert
Breakout country-pop star Maddox Batson is rolling into The Maryland State Fair this fall — and he’s bringing the party with him.
The 15-year-old multi-instrumentalist and viral heartthrob is set to headline the 2025 Live! ON TRACK! Concert Series on Saturday, September 6.
Batson’s headlining show marks a major milestone in a year that’s already seen him debut at the Grand Ole Opry, hit the stage at Stagecoach, and prep for tour dates with Lainey Wilson. And now, he’s bringing that same high-energy magic to Maryland.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 16 at 10 AM at marylandstatefair.com.
And yes, your concert ticket also gets you into the fair — funnel cake and fried Oreos, anyone?
Fans can bring their own blankets or chairs and settle in for a night under the stars. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the music kicks off at 7 p.m. with opening acts Emma White and Ashley Anne setting the stage.
Maddox will be performing songs from his just-released deluxe EP, First Dance (The After Party) — including new tracks like “I Need A Truck,” “Somewhere South,” and “2 Feet,” plus crowd-pleasers like “Girl in Green,” “Southbound,” and viral hit “I Got Catfished.”
When Maddox heard he was headlining the same fair that’s hosted names like Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter, he said, “I felt really honored. It's gonna be a great time and a fantastic performance. We're gonna do some really special stuff for it."
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just here for the deep-fried snacks and good vibes, this is one fair concert you won’t want to miss.
