Reisterstown teen publishes children’s book about Down syndrome in honor of her little sister

REISTERSTOWN, Md. —At just 17 years old, Ava Perlin is a published children's book author.

Her first book, "One in a Millieon" is about her little sister, Millie.

"Millie is 3 years younger than I am, so we don't have too big of an age gap. We're very close," said Ava.
