Got plans in a year? The countdown is on! Sail250 Maryland & Airshow Baltimore sails into Baltimore June 24 – July 1, 2026.

Sail 250 is a free and family-friendly celebration of maritime and aviation.

The event will bring a fleet of local and international tall ships and naval vessels to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in celebration of 250 years of American history at sea.️ Attendees will enjoy open ship tours, neighborhood festivals, educational panels, historical exhibits and more. Plus, the Blue Angels, a U.S. Navy flight demonstration team, return to fly over the Inner Harbor.

June 24 - July 1, 2026 SAIL250® Maryland and Airshow Baltimore

SAIL250® MARYLAND & AIRSHOW BALTIMORE

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, SAIL250® Maryland and Airshow Baltimore, a gathering of international tall ships, U.S. Navy and Coast Guard ships, and local education and sea service vessels is scheduled to take place June 24 – July 1, 2026. This major event is part of a coordinated, five-city, national, semiquincentennial celebration which includes the ports of New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York, and Boston. The Maryland event will also feature the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron and other aviation performers for an airshow over Baltimore Harbor, flyovers at Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Open House at Martin State Airport.

SAIL250® Maryland Fleet, Flight, and Festival activities will take place at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Fells Point, North Locust Point, Baltimore Peninsula, and Martin State Airport.

Planning is currently underway for this major event, and more detailed information on ships, aviation and festival events, and sponsorship opportunities will be made available in mid-2025.

Sail250® is a global gathering of tall ships and military ships to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States. It will offer crews, cadets and visitors from all over the world an unforgettable experience and a world-class maritime celebration.
