Suspect in Custody After Police Standoff at Towson Comfort Inn

Baltimore County Police apprehended a suspect following a tense standoff at the Comfort Inn in Towson this morning.

According to FOX Baltimore, the barricade situation, which unfolded on the 8800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, drew a swift response from law enforcement, arriving on the scene at around 10:15 a.m.

Witnessing a considerable police presence, the local community was alerted early that the area would be teeming with officers, a detail confirmed by WBAL-TV. By 12:45 p.m., the police had successfully de-escalated the situation using a tactical approach, deploying a flash bang device to encourage the surrender of the suspect.
