Baltimore County Police Department launches new Community Conversations program
TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department announced the launch of a new initiative, Community Conversations, aimed at strengthening the relationship between law enforcement officers and residents. The program is designed to “break down barriers to ensure the person beyond the badge is seen,” according to a press release.
Police Chief Robert O. McCullough said the program is part of the department’s continuous effort to innovate in community policing. “Community Conversations aims to break the traditional mold,” McCullough stated.
