TOWSON, MD — A kids social club opened it first Baltimore County location recently.

The Bunny Hive in Towson, offering classes for young children and their parents.

Marketed as The Bunny Hive Baltimore, the studio spans 2,000 square feet in The Shops at Kenilworth. It is located on the lower level, between Liza Byrd Boutique and Italian Gardens.

"Our goal is to create a destination where families can shop, dine, and connect, and The Bunny Hive is a perfect example of the kind of tenant that makes The Shops at Kenilworth so special," Tracey Holehan, senior vice president and director of leasing for Greenberg Gibbons, said in a press release.

The Bunny Hive offers "grownup and me" classes for children and their caretakers. These sessions run just about every hour, engaging through music, art, sensory story time, baby massage, ballet and culinary classes. The activities, designed for kids two weeks to preschool, foster connection through play and learning.

The boutique social club also hosts events like birthday parties and baby showers.

"This journey has been long and, truthfully, not always easy. The past few weeks especially have been some of the hardest both personally and professionally and there were moments I wasn’t sure we’d get here," The Bunny Hive Baltimore said on Instagram. "But we did. And that’s because of the people who stood by me, encouraged me, and believed in this vision even when things felt heavy. I am endlessly grateful for you. None of this would be possible without my family and my team — especially my husband, who has been my rock through the late nights, tears, doubts, reminding me we can do anything."

The studio is owned by Chelsea Rallo, a Washington College graduate with experience in early childhood education and marketing.

"I am so excited to officially welcome local families to The Bunny Hive," Rallo said in the press release. "The Shops at Kenilworth provides the perfect space for children and caregivers to gather, learn, and play together. Our studio was created to support and connect families during such a meaningful season of life, and we can’t wait to see lasting friendships and memories grow here."

Rallo and her husband, Dominic, have two toddler girls, Collins and Blakely.

"And at the very heart of it all — my inspiration and my reason are my two daughters," The Bunny Hive's Instagram post said. "Thank you for being the 'why' behind bringing this to our community. You are the dream that made The Bunny Hive Baltimore a reality."

This is Maryland's second Bunny Hive. The other is in Bethesda. The chain has dozens of locations nationwide.
