Golf Store Opening 1st Location In Baltimore County

A golf store is opening its first location in Baltimore County, reports said. It will have a putting green and a simulator showroom.

TIMONIUM, MD — A golf store plans to open its first Baltimore County location next year, reports said.

PGA Tour Superstore will open in spring or early summer 2026 at 1910 York Road in Timonium, The Baltimore Banner said.

This will be the company's second store in Maryland. The other is in Rockville.

WMAR said the Timonium retailer will span 29,440 square feet and offer a putting green, a golf simulator showroom and several bays for play or club fitting.

WMAR reported that the store will sell launch monitors, rangefinders, GPS devices, home simulators and smart putting aids, among other golf equipment.

The business chose Timonium because there are over 50 public and private golf courses in the Baltimore area, WMAR said.

“We look for communities with good golf penetration,” store spokesperson Megan Mahoney told The Banner in an email. “And Timonium and the North Baltimore surrounding area fit that very well.”

The Banner said Maryland's first PGA Tour Superstore opened in Montgomery County in 2022.
