    What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?
    My competitiveness, My football IQ, My versatility; being able to play multiple positions throughout the defensive line.

    At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
    I was 9 years old when I first started playing football but I knew about the game since I was 6. The main reason why I wore “96”

    What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
    My work ethic to be successful. The way I grew up and being where I’m from, all I know is work and excuses get you nowhere.

    If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
    Poverty

    What is the best advice you have ever received?
    “You can’t escape work. Instead of trying to escape it, just embrace it”

    What is your biggest pet peeve?
    When someone complains too much or make excuses

    Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
    Getting kicked off my high school football team in 9th grade. After that, I changed the way I look at things, and it has made me a better person ever since.

    Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
    I just transferred to Towson and I already love how things are organized. I like how the school can help you not just for sports but outside of sports as well.

    What is your favorite snack food?
    Blueberry Pop Tarts and Chocolate chip granola bars

    If you could sell yourself in one sentence, what would you say?
    My name is Shaheem, I love this game of football and I will go beyond measure to make myself a better player, teammate, and person.

    Demarcus Lawrence

    If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
    Aaron Donald: My favorite defensive player in the NFL.

    Steve Harvey: Not just because he’s funny but the journey he had to become successful is amazing.
