MISSION MOMENT: DESIGNER BAG BINGO! A TRENDSETTING SUCCESS!

The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc. held its inaugural Designer Bag BINGO fundraising event on January 25 at Tall Cedars of Lebanon North America in Parkville. The event was sold out, and the evening was a resounding success!

Nearly 500 Champions of Education and Friends of The Foundation/Team BCPS joined in the fun and played BINGO to win designer handbags, raffle baskets, door prizes, and the chance to win the 50/50 raffle, which had a pot of more than $1,200!

The sold-out Designer Bag BINGO fundraising event attracted nearly 500 participants and raised more than $20,000.

More than $20,000 was raised and will go directly to supporting the students, teachers, and schools of BCPS by ensuring the foundation has the funds to keep the Exchangeree: Gizmos and Gadgets Galore centers stocked with school supplies, classroom resources, and other items to support the academic, social-emotional, and physical well-being of our community members.

A special thank you to our Master of Ceremonies, Jim Longenecker, a foundation board member, who called 20 regular games, three special games, and made announcements throughout the evening, despite being on call for the potential birth of his fifth grandbaby! (His fourth granddaughter arrived on Saturday morning with everyone doing great.)
