- Embark Education in Hunt Valley, a preschool, announced that all of the court cases concerning an October 2023 incident have been settled and all three teenagers took the same plea deal, pleading guilty to one count of fourth degree burglary and one count of malicious destruction of property.
- The plea deal is as follows:
  - Supervised probation
  - 3PM curfew until school year is over
  - 3 letters of apology to each of the owners of Embark, 1,000 words each within 30 days
  - 100 hours of community service in 6 months
  - Counseling
  - $1,000 in restitution joint and several with the co-respondents
  - Obey all laws
  - No trespassing on Embark Education property

HUNT VALLEY, MD — A Baltimore County preschool is rebuilding after three teenagers were accused of vandalizing its property in late October, causing at least $250,000 in damage, according to a WBALTV report.

The media outlet secured brief video surveillance showing the alleged vandalism of Embark Education, located at 120 Sparks Valley Road, around 3:30 a.m., Oct. 28.

The teens "ate cupcakes, drank juice boxes, rode tricycles and discharged a fire extinguisher throughout the building," WBALTV reported Friday.

Since the vandalism, Embark Education has been restoring what was lost or damaged and is collecting donations. Items being accepted include children's books and cars, trains and tracks, Amazon gift cards, puzzles, baby toys, dolls, baby swings, bouncers, mats and exersaucers.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank our community for all the support we’ve received over the last 24 hours. For many of us, Embark Education is a home away from home, and over the weekend, that home was vandalized and our sense of security violated," Embark Education posted to Facebook.

"As we move forward throughout the week, we appreciate all of your continued cooperation and understanding while we do our best to navigate the challenges of this awful situation. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love each of our families has shown us, and we are beyond thankful for the village we have created."
