The Soapstone Trail Loop Will Show You A Completely New Side Of Maryland

The Soapstone Trail Loop is a 2.6 mile hike in Maryland that really offers something for everyone. Along with taking you through the Maryland wilds, the trail includes a river, flowers, scenic vistas, and abundant wildlife watching. 

Because there’s a lot to do and see on this hike, it’s a popular destination for both locals and tourists, who come here to revel in Maryland’s beauty. The highest peak on the trail is just under 300 feet. While the terrain can be a bit challenging to navigate, you’ll want to take your time and make sure to wear proper shoes before you set off on your outing.
