BCPS student artists honored at 36th Annual High School Art Exhibition

TOWSON, MD— Baltimore County Public Schools hosted its 36th Annual High School Art Exhibition, showcasing the work of 122 student artists from across the county.

The juried exhibition featured a wide range of media from painting, drawings, prints, sculpture, and film. The work was created by students at 17 different high schools in Baltimore County.

The winning pieces were displayed on display at The StarTUp at Towson University, where the exhibition was held.

The exhibition highlights the unwavering dedication and creativity of BCPS students and their art educators. It is also a testament to the support that BCPS provides for students’ arts education.

“The 36th Annual High School Art Exhibition highlights the unwavering dedication and creativity of BCPS students and their art educators, showcasing BCPS’ steadfast support for a robust, culturally responsive visual arts education,” said Ryan Twentey, coordinator of the BCPS Office of Visual Arts. “We are especially proud this year that the honored works are by students from 17 BCPS high schools. This reflects the excellence in arts education and distribution of talent across the county. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who nurture our outstanding young artists, including teachers, parents, caregivers, mentors, and community partners.”
