CANOLES SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH DC POWER FC
Former Towson University women's soccer standout Phoebe Canoles signed with DC Power FC yesterday for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Canoles joins the Washington D.C. club after helping the Tigers to their first Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) regular season and tournament championship in 2023.
The Power play in the USL Super League, which will kick-off its first season on Aug. 17, 2024. The team plays its home games at Audi Field.
Canoles finished her senior season with nine goals and ten assists, which earned her All-CAA First Team honors. The Baltimore native amassed 24 assists and 21 goals, including nine game winners for the Tigers. The three-time captain earned All-CAA honors in her last four seasons.
In 2023, Towson won 15 games, the most in a single season in program history. The Tigers start the season on the road against Virginia on August 15th and have their home opener on August 22nd against St. John's.
