Mansion Open House
Park rangers and volunteers will share the stories of the Hampton mansion, the people who lived and worked here. Throughout the day we will feature musical performances by ConneXions Academy choir and 42nd Street Singers highlighting songs of the festive season! There will also be African American Storytelling and Music with Griots' Circle of Maryland, Inc and free 19th-century silhouettes thanks to Silhouettes by Hand (first come, first served)
Orangery Activities
*while supplies last ParkingParking is free. Limited parking is available at Hampton National Historic Site. A free shuttle service is available for the event from 10:00 a.m. — 8:30 p.m. from the parking lot at Towson United Methodist Church (501 Hampton Lane) to Hampton NHS. The shuttle will stop at the mansion and the church parking lot. AccessibilityMansion ADA Lift is currently not functional awaiting a replacement, physical accessibility to the mansion will be limited to those with the ability to climb 3-4 steps into the first floor. We apologize for any inconvenience. The free shuttle service is NOT accessible with chair lifts. However, ADA accessible parking will be available at the mansion upper lot. AdmissionFREE! Want to Avoid Crowds?The mansion will be decorated from December 14th through January 5, 2025. The mansion is available for scheduled public tours Thursdays through Sundays during that time.
