Gladstein named NFHCA All-American
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the 2024 season, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is delighted to announce 48 Division III student-athletes as the 2024 NFHCA All-Americans, sponsored by Apex Field Hockey.
From Stevenson, graduate student forward Emma Gladstein earned a Second Team All-American bid for her performance this season.
In her final season with the Mustangs, Gladstein was named MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year and landed on the first team as well. Earlier this month, Gladstein earned her second straight NFHCA All-Region V bid.
In 20 games played, Gladstein led the Mustangs with over 1,100 minutes on the field, racking up 20 goals and nine assists for 49 points. Six of her goals were game-winners, and she scored in the penalty shootout victory over No. 8 York (Pa.).
The Sykesville, Maryland native's offensive power helped lead the Mustangs' to their first-ever rankings, being voted in as high as 22nd via the NFHCA poll. She notched points in 14 games, boasting a six game streak to start the season.
Gladstein is just the second Mustang in program history to be named an All-American.
