IKEA MOVING IN

IKEA will open a new "plan & order" store in Hunt Valley Towne Center this summer, occupying a 2,000-square-foot space near Lands' End. Unlike traditional IKEA stores, this smaller concept allows customers to design rooms with employee assistance and order furniture for delivery or pickup. It will also serve as a pickup hub for online orders, offering added convenience for local shoppers. 

This marks IKEA’s third plan & order location in Maryland, following similar openings in Annapolis (2023) and Gaithersburg (2024). The Hunt Valley shopping center is undergoing significant revitalization, recently adding dining options like Honeygrow and CAVA.
