Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage, Baltimore County
The Baltimore County House and Garden Pilgrimage takes place on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 10 - 4, and will showcase historic locations around Ruxton and Towson.
During the 19th century, many prominent Baltimoreans built summer places in Baltimore County - in what was then deep country. This year's tour sites showcase century old trees, open lawns, and scenic winding roads.
Proceeds from this year's Pilgrimage will support the Fire Museum of Maryland in Lutherville. Tickets are available online from http://www.mhgp.org
The first stop on the tour will be the Fire Museum, where Pilgrims will pick up their tour books and wristbands.
The Maryland House and Garden pilgrimage is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to preserve and to support the restoration of architecturally and historically significant properties throughout the state of Maryland.
