JOIN US FOR 2023 THE HEREFORD INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AND FIREWORKS!

Lots of fun and excitement for everyone! The parade through downtown Hereford starts at 6:00 pm. Followed by a festival featuring vendors, crafts, bands, performers, and food at the Hereford High School. To close the night, beginning at Dusk, we have the best Fireworks around!

Baltimore County is set to light up the skies with an array of Independence Day celebrations planned for this year. Festivities, including fireworks, parades, music concerts, and more, are slated to take place across different venues, promising a memorable holiday weekend for residents and visitors alike.

Independence Day celebrations across Baltimore County:

Fullerton Fireworks (July 1, 2023)

  • Festivities: 2:00 p.m. Food and Music
  • Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • Location: Fullerton Park

Mount Vista Kingsville Fireworks (July 3, 2023)

  • Gates Open at 6:30 p.m.
  • Fireworks: Beginning between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., the firework display will last approximately 23 minutes.

Baltimore Fourth of July Celebration (July 4, 2023)

  • Festivities: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • U.S. Navy Band at 7:00 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
  • Best Place to Watch: Federal Hill, Harbor East, Fells Point, and Canton
  • More: Visitors may attend Deck Party on USS Constellation in the Inner Harbor of Downtown Baltimore.

Catonsville's 77th Fourth of July Parade (July 4, 2023)

  • Festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. with the annual CRTT bike ride to Fort McHenry, followed by Kids Games and The Christian Temple concert.
  • The parade begins at 3:00 p.m. (Rain or Shine)
  • Route: Starts at Frederick Road and Montrose Avenue, proceeds east on Frederick Road to Bloomsbury Avenue, and south on Bloomsbury Avenue to the Community Center.
  • Fireworks Family Fun Fest at 6:30 p.m.
  • Mammoth Fireworks Show at 9:15 p.m.
  • More: The theme is "Light up the Sky, It's 4th of July."

Cherry Hill Arts and Music Waterfront Festival (July 4, 2023)

  • Festivities: 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
  • More: Arts and Crafts, Children's Village, Vendors, Historical Reenactments, Food Trucks, and More.

Dundalk's 4th of July Parade (July 4, 2023)

  • Festivities: 6:30 a.m. Parking Lot Available for Participants, 8:15 a.m. Parade Starts, and Fire Engines Begin
  • Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. at The North Point Government Center and Grange Elementary.
  • More: The theme is "Saluting America."

Towson Fourth of July Race and Parade (July 4, 2023)

  • The race begins at 8:15 a.m.
  • Parade Begins at 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Independence Day Celebrations in the Greater Baltimore Area:

Smithsonian Folklife Festival

  • The annual festival will highlight the culture of the Ozarks and "Creative Encounters."
  • Open on the National Mall from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Independence Day.
  • It is located between 12th and 14th streets, in front of the National Museum of American History.

National Independence Day Parade

  • Event features marching bands, fife and drum corps, floats, military units, giant balloons, equestrian, drill teams, and more.
  • The parade runs from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Constitution Avenue NW from 7th Street NW to 17th Street NW.

Sylvan Theater Family Activity Area

  • Activities and a scavenger hunt about the history of the city's most famous monument.
  • Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Independence Day.

A Capitol Fourth Concert

Fireworks on the National Mall

  • Fireworks will be launched from both sides of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
