COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WBFF) — A coordinated police effort led to the arrest of two West Baltimore men after a week-long crime spree targeted Baltimore County convenience stores and ATM machines, according to police and court documents.
Law enforcement says 23-year-old Khaleb Chevy Edmonds and 32-year-old Darius Davon Junior of West Baltimore allegedly stole several cars and used them to steal ATMs from Baltimore County convenience stores.
Starting on October 8, the suspects purportedly robbed the Royal Farms at the 8800 block of Philadelphia Road in Middle River, according to court records.
Just before 3:00 a.m., police described seeing “a caravan of suspect vehicles” filled with seven individuals that exited the cars and swarmed the convenience store.

The suspects enter the store and immediately begin a coordinated effort to pull the ATM from out of the Royal Farms by using a chain connected to the van,” court documents allege. “This process continued for several minutes as attempts to get the ATM free of its mounted location ended unsuccessfully.”
According to charging documents, the suspects were eventually able to dislodge the ATM after returning a few minutes later to the site.
Police records purport the vehicle caravan consisted entirely of stolen vehicles, including a Kia Soul stolen from an nearby hotel parking lot. Two of the three vehicles were found in West Baltimore days later.
While police towed one of the stolen vehicles when discovered, detectives established surveillance on the Kia hoping suspects would return to the vehicle.
