‘You guac to be kidding’: New flavor makers are both toppings and seasonings
What could bring more versatility to the kitchen than a spice blend that can be used as a seasoning and a topping?
McCormick has unveiled a line of Flavor Making Seasonings in 15 blends “each a quick way to enhance the flavor of any dish – from ramen to rice – with minimal effort for all levels of home cooks.”
The blends are made with McCormick spices and no additives. The are for chicken, veggie, pasta, avocado, egg, sandwich, pizza, chili, salmon, potato, Asian-style rice bowl, mac & cheese, Mediterranean, ramen and taco.
They have fun names such as “You guac to be kidding,” “Everything’s gonna be all-rice,” “Taste that’s im-peck-able” and “You crack me up.”
“The new line of McCormick Flavor Maker Seasonings is for everyone who wants to add flavor to their dishes in an easy, quick way,” said Tabata Gomez, chief marketing officer for McCormick & Company. “With this line, there is truly something for everyone to upgrade their favorite foods and make them taste even more delicious.”
The Flavor Maker Seasonings are $5.84 each - for a 4.4-ounce container - on Amazon.
McCormick said they also soon will be available online at Walmart.
