EMPTY BOWLS RAISES

the 18th Annual Empty Bowls Family Event and the inaugural Candlelight and Clay raised over $186,000 for the programs and services of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore.

This year was extra special, as they added the new Candlelight and Clay event to the weekend’s festivities. Between the two events, nearly 1,000 guests were in attendance, enjoying unlimited bowl-friendly cuisine from over twenty area restaurants, while taking in a variety of fun and engaging performances and activities.

In keeping with tradition, everyone went home with a beautiful hand-painted ceramic bowl, which serves as a reminder of the hunger that exists in our community. Our thanks to the local community organizations, businesses, churches, and schools who hand-painted over 1,000 bowls for our guests, as well as our many volunteers who assisted with both events.

Empty Bowls would not be possible without the support of our great sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor, Whiting-Turner Contracting HQ and our media partner, WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore. Many thanks to all of our corporate sponsors as well as the restaurant sponsors who provided donated food for the events.

We would like to give a tremendous thank you to everyone who came out in support of Empty Bowls, along with those who donated this year. Your support allows us to serve those suffering from hunger, homelessness, and poverty with not only food, but also an array of services to help them gain the skills, resources, and opportunities to achieve their full potential and, most importantly, to have hope.

We look forward to seeing you again at next year’s events, scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2025.
