Baltimore County looking to recruit new officers

    (Towson, MD) -- The Baltimore County Police Department is hitting the recruitment trail.

    The department is kicking off an aggressive recruiting campaign to bring new blood into the ranks.

    Baltimore County's department is the 21st largest police agency in the nation, but is having a hard time covering all its bases with 240 current vacancies within the department.

    Officials say those men and women who want to join the force should come to the department's recruitment marathon on February 22nd.

    BCoPD RECRUITMENT MARATHON

    Get ready, Baltimore County. For 12 hours on February 22nd, the Baltimore County Police Department will be holding multiple recruitment pop-ups. For part of the day, we’ll be at CCBC Dundalk with virtual training equipment and Department agility coaches. 

    Everyone is welcome to stop by any or all of our events, even if it’s just to watch what’s involved in joining the Department. Maybe you have questions about the process - this will be a great time to do that - bottom line, this event, or should I say EVENTS, is for everyone to come out and enjoy!
